Welcome to Calf Cottage - a romantic little hideaway for two

If your looking for something a little different, in a peaceful location Calf cottage is the perfect place. It is a unique building. Back when Treglyn was still a working farm Calf cottage originally housed a mill for grinding corn, which was driven by a donkey ! the donkey would be harnessed up to the mill stone and go round in circles, hence the unusual hexagonal shape of the building. It is what was called a Horse Engine, or Gin House. It has been modernised but still retains the beautiful vaulted ceiling.

Accommodation comprises

A fully equipped kitchen area with full cooker, fridge and microwave. Dining table and 4 chairs, sofa and armchair and a king size bed. Flat screen television. There is a separate shower room/toilet.

Free Wi fi connection

Heating is by storage heaters and oil fired radiators.

Out side is a peaceful area of lawn with a picnic table, for relaxing after a day on the beach.
